In 2020-2021, 6,013 people earned their degree in mechanical engineering technology, making the major the 132nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, mechanical engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,639 and had an average of $22,526 in loans still to pay off.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality mechanical engineering technology programs as well as strong veteran support.

Out of the 11 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for ME Tech that were part of this year’s ranking, Rochester Institute of Technology landed the #1 spot on the list. This fairly large school is located in Rochester, New York, and it awarded 107 ’s ME tech degrees in 2020-2021.

Penn College is a small public school situated in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It awarded 37 ’s ME tech degrees in 2020-2021.

SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale is a medium-sized school located in Farmingdale, New York that handed out 96 ’s ME tech degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our middle atlantic region vets studying me tech list, SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 10,018 students enrolled at Farmingdale State College, 250 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology is a private not-for-profit institution located in Flushing, New York. The school has a small population, and it awarded 24 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Fairleigh Dickinson University - Metropolitan Campus did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for ME Tech ranking, coming in at #6. This medium-sized school is located in Teaneck, New Jersey, and it awarded 11 ’s ME tech degrees in 2020-2021.

New York City College of Technology came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for ME Tech ranking. City Tech is a fairly large school located in Brooklyn, New York that handed out 161 ’s ME tech degrees in 2020-2021.
