2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Biological Engineering

In 2019-2020, 365 people earned their degree in biological engineering, making the major the 288th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, biological engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,933 and had an average of $20,950 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 300 biological engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Biological Engineering Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in biological engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent biological engineering programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

This fairly large school is located in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and it awarded 12 bachelors’s biological engineering degrees in 2019-2020.

Out of the 11 schools in the Best Value Biological Engineering Schools for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Missouri - Columbia landed the #4 spot on the list. Mizzou is a public institution located in Columbia, Missouri. The school has a large population, and it awarded 34 bachelors’s degrees in 2019-2020.

U of I is located in Moscow, Idaho and, has a fairly large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 17 bachelors’s biological engineering degrees to qualified students.

With a ranking of #7, University of Georgia did quite well on the 2022 Best Value Biological Engineering Schools for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Athens, Georgia, this large public school handed out 48 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s biological engineering students in 2019-2020.

University of Arkansas landed the #8 spot on the 2022 Best Value Biological Engineering Schools for a Bachelor’s ranking. Located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, this large public school handed out 24 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s biological engineering students in 2019-2020.

La Jolla, California is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s biological engineering degrees to 27 students in 2019-2020.
