Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for CE” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.

Computer Engineering is the 56th most popular major in the country with 17,987 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $73,143 and had an average of $24,685 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,297 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $68,480 and $26,507 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for CE” ranking looked at 49 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer engineering. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer engineering programs as well as strong veteran support.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the computer engineering program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Raleigh, North Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s CE degrees to 313 students in 2020-2021.
