In 2020-2021, 1,454 people earned their degree in engineering science, making the major the 205th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $76,473 and had an average of $22,601 in loans still to pay off.
For this year’s “Best Value Engineering Science Schools” ranking, we looked at 32 colleges that offer a degree in engineering science. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering science programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Out of the 32 schools in the Best Value Engineering Science Schools that were part of this year’s ranking, Kettering University landed the #1 spot on the list.
