2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for General Engineering

General Engineering is the 83rd most popular major in the country with 9,411 degrees awarded in 2019-2020.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 2,961 general engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Engineering Schools for an Associate” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in general engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Out of the 11 schools in the Best Value Engineering Schools for an Associate that were part of this year’s ranking, Metropolitan Community College - Kansas City landed the #1 spot on the list. MCC is located in Kansas City, Missouri and, has a fairly large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 36 associates’s engineering degrees to qualified students.
