Across North Carolina, there were 660 general engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $64,319 and $21,856 respectively.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend North Carolina State University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for Engineering list. This large school is located in Raleigh, North Carolina, and it awarded 52 ’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

NC State not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, NC State supports 36,042 students, and 1,102 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 493 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,886. During this same period, 27 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 94%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year. ECU is located in Greenville, North Carolina and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 102 ’s engineering degrees to qualified students.

The school came in at #4 for the Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for Engineering. University of North Carolina at Asheville is a small public school situated in Asheville, North Carolina. It awarded 28 ’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

UNCA did well in our major quality rankings, too.
