In 2019-2020, 2,900 people earned their degree in other engineering, making the major the 174th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, other engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $75,379 and had an average of $28,015 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 992 other engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Other Engineering Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 35 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in other engineering. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality other engineering programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the other engineering program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
