Across the New England region, there were 447 other engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $77,653 and $24,834 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great other engineering programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Northeastern University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Other Engineering list. Northeastern University is a large school located in Boston, Massachusetts that handed out 375 ’s other engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

Northeastern not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 9 of the 22,905 students enrolled at Northeastern were GI Bill® students, of which 6 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $25,441. During this same period, 2 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Massachusetts - Lowell. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Other Engineering list. University of Massachusetts - Lowell is a fairly large public school situated in Lowell, Massachusetts. It awarded 27 ’s other engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our new england region vets studying other engineering list, UMass Lowell has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 18,150 students enrolled at University of Massachusetts - Lowell, 623 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 290 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,664. During this same period, 29 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Massachusetts - Lowell offers credit for military training for eligible students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Hartford. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Other Engineering list. West Hartford, Connecticut is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s other engineering degrees to 10 students in 2020-2021.

UHart also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 96 of the 6,493 students enrolled at University of Hartford were GI Bill® students, of which 54 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $12,928. To help with additional expenses, 18 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

The impressive undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio of 8 to 1 means that students may have more opportunities to work more closely with their professors than they would at other schools.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The school came in at #4 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Other Engineering. WPI is located in Worcester, Massachusetts and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 28 ’s other engineering degrees to qualified students.

WPI not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, WPI supports 6,920 students, and 77 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 47 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
