In 2019-2020, 17,129 people earned their degree in clinical/medical laboratory science, making the major the 97th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, clinical/medical laboratory science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $38,047 and had an average of $17,559 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 3,116 clinical/medical laboratory science graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
