In 2020-2021, 26,399 people earned their degree in dental support services, making the major the 82nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, dental support services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,442 and had an average of $15,159 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 6,847 dental support services graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,177 and $14,638 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Dental Support Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking looked at 81 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in dental support services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent dental support services programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
