In 2020-2021, 26,399 people earned their degree in dental support services, making the major the 82nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, dental support services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,442 and had an average of $15,159 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 3,351 dental support services graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,434 and $13,963 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Dental Support” ranking, we looked at 25 colleges that offer a degree in dental support services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent dental support services programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the dental support services program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this small public school handed out 44 diplomas to qualified ’s dental support students in 2020-2021.

UOHSC did well in our major quality rankings, too.
