When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Medical Informatics” ranking is part of that endeavor.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Medical Informatics” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in medical informatics. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent medical informatics programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Out of the 14 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Medical Informatics that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor landed the #1 spot on the list. This large school is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and it awarded 55 ’s medical informatics degrees in 2020-2021.
U-M also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].According to our most recent data, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor supports 47,907 students, and 570 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 325 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this large public school awarded 51 degrees to qualified ’s medical informatics students in 2020-2021.
UWM not only placed well in this ranking. DePaul not only placed well in this ranking.
