2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Other Health Professions
It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. Our “Best Value Health Professions Schools for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2019-2020, 7,767 people earned their degree in other health professions, making the major the 100th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, other health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $39,856 and had an average of $27,421 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,105 other health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Health Professions Schools for an Associate” ranking looked at 35 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in other health professions. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great other health professions programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the other health professions program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend American Public University System. The school came in at #1 for the Best Value Health Professions Schools for an Associate. American Public University System is a large school located in Charles Town, West Virginia that handed out 399 associates’s health professions degrees in 2019-2020.
American Military University also took the #2 spot in our “Best Other Health Professions Associate Degree Schools” ranking. It costs about $10,222 for associate degree health professions students per year to attend American Public University System.
