Public Health is the 26th most popular major in the country with 40,596 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, public health graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,158 and had an average of $27,396 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 2,965 public health graduates with average earnings and debt of $51,898 and $25,739 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Public Health” ranking, we looked at 37 colleges that offer a degree in public health. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality public health programs as well as strong veteran support.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the public health program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
