University of Idaho is located in Moscow, Idaho and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 138 ’s law degrees to qualified students.
The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 4.1%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%.
Out of the 8 schools in the Schools Highly Focused on Law Major in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Denver landed the #3 spot on the list. University of Denver is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Denver, Colorado. It awarded 233 ’s law degrees in 2020-2021.

University of Wyoming is a fairly large school located in Laramie, Wyoming that handed out 78 ’s law degrees in 2020-2021.

UM is a fairly large public school situated in Missoula, Montana. It awarded 71 ’s law degrees in 2020-2021.
University of Colorado Boulder did quite well in the 2023 Schools Highly Focused on Law Major in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking, coming in at #6. CU - Boulder is located in Boulder, Colorado and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 170 ’s law degrees to qualified students.
The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 2.4%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%. The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 85%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year.
With a ranking of #7, Brigham Young University - Provo did quite well on the 2023 Schools Highly Focused on Law Major in the Rocky Mountains Region list. Located in Provo, Utah, this large private not-for-profit school awarded 104 diplomas to qualified ’s law students in 2020-2021.
Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 92%. The low undergrad student loan default rate of 1.3% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.
University of Utah ranked #8 on this year’s Schools Highly Focused on Law Major in the Rocky Mountains Region list. University of Utah is a large school located in Salt Lake City, Utah that handed out 88 ’s law degrees in 2020-2021.
With a freshman retention rate of 89%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students. The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 1.7%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.
