Gerontology is the 256th most popular major in the country with 1,234 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, gerontology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $37,380 and had an average of $26,139 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 40 gerontology graduates with average earnings and debt of $24,858 and $31,000 respectively.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Florida - Main Campus. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Gerontology list. University of South Florida - Main Campus is a public institution located in Tampa, Florida. The school has a large population, and it awarded 13 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
