Personal & Culinary Services is the 31st most popular major in the country with 130,328 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, personal and culinary services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $18,795 and had an average of $12,190 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 36,575 personal and culinary services graduates with average earnings and debt of $17,064 and $12,865 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Personal & Culinary Services” ranking, we looked at 50 colleges that offer a degree in personal and culinary services. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great personal and culinary services programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the personal and culinary services program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
