Out of the 6 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Air Transport that were part of this year’s ranking, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Prescott landed the #1 spot on the list. Embry-Riddle Prescott is located in Prescott, Arizona and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 192 ’s air transport degrees to qualified students.

Embry-Riddle Prescott not only placed well in this ranking. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Oklahoma Norman Campus. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Air Transport list. Located in Norman, Oklahoma, this large public school handed out 49 degrees to qualified ’s air transport students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at University of Oklahoma, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 27,772 students enrolled at University of Oklahoma, 12 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 10 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $3,720. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, this large public school handed out 104 diplomas to qualified ’s air transport students in 2020-2021.

OSU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,038 of the 24,535 students enrolled at Oklahoma State University - Main Campus were GI Bill® students, of which 439 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $7,226. During this same period, 39 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend LeTourneau University. The school came in at #4 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Air Transport. This small school is located in Longview, Texas, and it awarded 34 ’s air transport degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southwest region vets studying air transport list, LETU has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, LeTourneau University supports 3,122 students, and 106 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 79 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $9,229. On top of their other funding sources, 18 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. The public school handed out ’s air transport degrees to 39 students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at ENMU - Main Campus, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 5,266 students enrolled at Eastern New Mexico University - Main Campus, 199 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. University of North Texas ranked #6 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Air Transport list. UNT is a large public school situated in Denton, Texas. It awarded 21 ’s air transport degrees in 2020-2021.

UNT not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Among the 40,953 students enrolled at UNT, 2,038 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
