2022 Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. Our “Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Dance is the 161st most popular major in the country with 3,397 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, dance graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $20,940 and had an average of $26,168 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 192 dance graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in dance. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality dance programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the dance program at the school and the cost of the school after aid is awarded among other things. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Scottsdale Community College. The school came in at #1 for the Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate. Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, this medium-sized public school awarded 9 degrees to qualified associates’s dance students in 2019-2020.
Scottsdale Community College not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” list. The yearly cost to attend Scottsdale Community College is $10,397 for Associate Degree Dance students.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Queensborough Community College. It ranked #2 on our 2022 Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate list. QCC is located in Bayside, New York and, has a fairly large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 8 associates’s dance degrees to qualified students.

SRJC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” list. The yearly cost to attend SRJC is $5,782 for associate degree dance students.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Estrella Mountain Community College. It ranked #4 on our 2022 Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate list. Estrella Mountain Community College is a medium-sized school located in Avondale, Arizona that handed out 4 associates’s dance degrees in 2019-2020.
Estrella Mountain Community College also took the #5 spot in our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Estrella Mountain Community College is $9,200 for associate degree dance students.

Mt. San Antonio College did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate ranking, coming in at #6. This large school is located in Walnut, California, and it awarded 3 associates’s dance degrees in 2019-2020.
Mt. SAC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #6 on our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” list. The estimated yearly cost for Mt. SAC is $1,729 for Associate Degree Dance students.
Montgomery County Community College came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate ranking. Blue Bell, Pennsylvania is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s dance degrees to 1 students in 2019-2020.
Montco also took the #9 spot in our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” ranking. It costs about $9,251 for Associate Degree Dance students per year to attend Montgomery County Community College.
With a ranking of #8, Utah Valley University did quite well on the 2022 Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate list. UVU is a public institution located in Orem, Utah. The school has a large population, and it awarded 9 associates’s degrees in 2019-2020.
UVU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #8 on our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” list. It costs about $9,159 for Associate Degree Dance students per year to attend Utah Valley University.
Mesa Community College did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate ranking, coming in at #9. Mesa, Arizona is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s dance degrees to 1 students in 2019-2020.
Mesa Community College also made our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” list, coming in at #11. It costs about $9,669 for associate degree dance students per year to attend Mesa Community College.
Nassau Community College landed the #10 spot on the 2022 Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate ranking. This fairly large school is located in Garden City, New York, and it awarded 1 associates’s dance degrees in 2019-2020.
Nassau Community College not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #10 on our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” list. The yearly cost to attend Nassau Community College is $4,594 for Associate Degree Dance students.
Dean College ranked #11 on this year’s Best Value Dance Schools for an Associate list. This small school is located in Franklin, Massachusetts, and it awarded 13 associates’s dance degrees in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Dean College, the school also landed the #7 spot in our “Best Dance Associate Degree Schools” ranking. It costs about $31,337 for associate degree dance students per year to attend Dean College.
