Dance is the 158th most popular major in the country with 3,288 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, dance graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $22,085 and had an average of $24,389 in loans still to pay off.

Across Ohio, there were 103 dance graduates with average earnings and debt of $21,123 and $26,000 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Dance” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in dance. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality dance programs as well as strong veteran support.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the dance program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Dance that were part of this year’s ranking, Ohio State University - Main Campus landed the #1 spot on the list. Columbus, Ohio is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s dance degrees to 34 students in 2020-2021.

Ohio State did well in our major quality rankings, too. University of Cincinnati - Main Campus is a large public school situated in Cincinnati, Ohio. It awarded 15 ’s dance degrees in 2020-2021.

UC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 909 of the 40,826 students enrolled at UC were GI Bill® students, of which 498 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
