In 2019-2020, 8,541 people earned their degree in graphic design, making the major the 105th most popular in the United States.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 5,098 graphic design graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Graphic Design Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 215 colleges that offered a degree in graphic design. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality graphic design programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
