Located in Annandale, Virginia, this large public school handed out 13 degrees to qualified ’s photography students in 2020-2021.

Northern Virginia Community College did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #7 on our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list. The yearly cost to attend Northern Virginia Community College is $9,452 for Southeast Region Photography students.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Central Florida. The school came in at #2 for the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region. UCF is a large public school situated in Orlando, Florida. It awarded 5 ’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

UCF also took the #2 spot in our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. It costs about $8,618 for Southeast Region Photography students per year to attend University of Central Florida.

The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 3.7%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%. Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 92%.

Out of the 8 schools in the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Miami Dade College landed the #3 spot on the list. This large school is located in Miami, Florida, and it awarded 5 ’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

MDC not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #6 on our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list. The estimated yearly cost for MDC is $4,870 for southeast region photography students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Freed-Hardeman University. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region list. FHU is located in Henderson, Tennessee and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 10 ’s photography degrees to qualified students.

Out of the 8 schools in the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, John Brown University landed the #5 spot on the list. This small school is located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and it awarded 8 ’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at JBU, the school also landed the #4 spot in our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. The estimated yearly cost for John Brown University is $21,957 for Southeast Region Photography students.

With a freshman retention rate of 86%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students. Virginia Commonwealth University did quite well in the 2023 Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region ranking, coming in at #6. Richmond, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s photography degrees to 36 students in 2020-2021.

VCU also made our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #3. It costs about $20,490 for Southeast Region Photography students per year to attend Virginia Commonwealth University.

The low undergrad student loan default rate of 2.6% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.

Savannah College of Art and Design came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. Located in Savannah, Georgia, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 114 degrees to qualified ’s photography students in 2020-2021.

SCAD not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list. The estimated yearly cost for SCAD is $44,632 for Southeast Region Photography students.

The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 3.2%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.

Ringling College of Art and Design came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. Ringling College of Art and Design is a private not-for-profit institution located in Sarasota, Florida. The school has a small population, and it awarded 5 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southeast region photography students list, Ringling College has also earned the #5 rank in our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Ringling College is $51,817 for Southeast Region Photography students.
