You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Northern Virginia Community College. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region list. Located in Annandale, Virginia, this large public school handed out 13 degrees to qualified ’s photography students in 2020-2021.
Northern Virginia Community College did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #7 on our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list. The yearly cost to attend Northern Virginia Community College is $9,452 for Southeast Region Photography students.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Central Florida. The school came in at #2 for the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region. UCF is a large public school situated in Orlando, Florida. It awarded 5 ’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.
UCF also took the #2 spot in our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. It costs about $8,618 for Southeast Region Photography students per year to attend University of Central Florida.
The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 3.7%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%. Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 92%.

FHU is located in Henderson, Tennessee and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 10 ’s photography degrees to qualified students.
FHU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #8 on our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list. It costs about $17,152 for Southeast Region Photography students per year to attend Freed-Hardeman University.

Out of the 8 schools in the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, John Brown University landed the #5 spot on the list. This small school is located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and it awarded 8 ’s photography degrees in 2020-2021.

Virginia Commonwealth University did quite well in the 2023 Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region ranking, coming in at #6. Richmond, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s photography degrees to 36 students in 2020-2021.
VCU also made our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #3. It costs about $20,490 for Southeast Region Photography students per year to attend Virginia Commonwealth University.

Savannah College of Art and Design came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. Located in Savannah, Georgia, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 114 degrees to qualified ’s photography students in 2020-2021.
SCAD not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” list. The estimated yearly cost for SCAD is $44,632 for Southeast Region Photography students.
The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 3.2%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.

Ringling College of Art and Design came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Photography Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. Ringling College of Art and Design is a private not-for-profit institution located in Sarasota, Florida. The school has a small population, and it awarded 5 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our southeast region photography students list, Ringling College has also earned the #5 rank in our “Best Photography Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Ringling College is $51,817 for Southeast Region Photography students.
