When many veterans attend a school, its faculty and staff tend to be more experienced at meeting the needs of former service members. VA figures show 181 GI Bill® students at NJIT. Since the total enrollment at the school is 8,762, nearly 2.1% of those enrolled are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. By comparison, the Student Veterans of America reports that three to four percent of college students nationwide are veterans.
