When many veterans attend a school, its faculty and staff tend to be more experienced at meeting the needs of former service members. According to the VA, there are 23 GI Bill® students at RISD. With a total enrollment of 2,090, around 1.1% of the student body is using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. Unfortunately, RISD does not offer credit for military training. Earning credit for what you already know can save you time and money toward a degree. Check with RISD about credit for life experience, CLEP and similar exams, or other prior learning beyond military training.
