What You’ll Find in Our Veterans Report on SWCC:
A large number of veterans attending a college means the college and faculty are more used to supporting and accommodating the needs of those with prior military experience. VA figures show 17 GI Bill® students at SWCC. Given that enrollment at the school is 774, nearly 2.2% of the students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. SWCC might grant college credit to those who have completed specialized military training. Ask the admissions office how this applies to you. Prior-learning credit can help you graduate sooner, so it pays to ask. Beyond military training, ask SWCC whether it awards credit for life or work experience, CLEP exams, or other prior learning.
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs are not available at SWCC.
