Our Veterans Report on VHCC:
Colleges with a large veteran population are better equipped to support and accommodate those who have had military experience. The VA reports that there are 58 GI Bill® students at VHCC. Since the total enrollment at the school is 1,335, approximately 4.3% of the student body is using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. For context, around three to four percent of American college students are veterans, per the Student Veterans of America.

VHCC may recognize specialized military training toward college credit. Ask the admissions office how this applies to you. Earning credit for what you already know can save you time and money toward a degree. Beyond military training, ask VHCC whether it awards credit for life or work experience, CLEP exams, or other prior learning.
VHCC does not offer Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs.
