When many veterans attend a school, its faculty and staff tend to be more experienced at meeting the needs of former service members. According to the VA, there are 24 GI Bill® students at Washington College. Since the total enrollment at the school is 890, about 2.7% of the student body is using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. As a benchmark, the Student Veterans of America puts the share of veteran college students nationwide at three to four percent.
