Colleges with a large veteran population are better equipped to support and accommodate those who have had military experience. Based on VA records, there are 20 GI Bill® students at Whitman. Since the total enrollment at the school is 1,523, around 1.3% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. Whitman may recognize specialized military training toward college credit. Ask the admissions office how this applies to you. Credit for prior learning can shorten your time to a degree, so it’s worth asking about. Beyond military training, ask Whitman whether it awards credit for life or work experience, CLEP exams, or other prior learning.
There are no ROTC programs offered at Whitman.
