Our Veterans Report on WPI:
Colleges with a large veteran population are better equipped to support and accommodate those who have had military experience. According to the VA, there are 87 GI Bill® students at WPI. Since the total enrollment at the school is 5,344, nearly 1.6% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. As a benchmark, the Student Veterans of America puts the share of veteran college students nationwide at three to four percent.
This number includes all chapters of the GI Bill®, such as Post-9/11, the Montgomery GI Bill®, the Reserve Education Assistance Program, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It leaves out active-duty personnel using Tuition Assistance, meaning the total military presence may be greater.

Unfortunately, WPI does not offer credit for military training. Earning credit for what you already know can save you time and money toward a degree. Beyond military training, ask WPI whether it awards credit for life or work experience, CLEP exams, or other prior learning.
