In 2020-2021, 1,042 people earned their degree in pharmacology and toxicology, making the major the 233rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, pharmacology and toxicology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,588 and had an average of $17,804 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 280 pharmacology and toxicology graduates with average earnings and debt of $64,055 and $20,000 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Pharmacology” ranking looked at 19 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in pharmacology and toxicology. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great pharmacology and toxicology programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
