Located in the city of Syracuse, ESF is a public college with a small student population. ESF not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #1 on our Best Colleges for Zoology in the Middle Atlantic Region list.

Canisius College comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the city of Buffalo, Canisius is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population.
