When it comes to choosing a college, veterans have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.

In 2020-2021, 11,319 people earned their degree in entrepreneurial studies, making the major the 120th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 4,127 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,750 and $23,419 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Entrepreneurship” ranking looked at 55 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in entrepreneurial studies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great entrepreneurial studies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
