2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Finance & Financial Management
It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Best Value Finance Schools for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Finance & Financial Management is the 14th most popular major in the country with 57,893 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, finance and financial management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $51,578 and had an average of $26,517 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 293 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Finance Schools for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 45 colleges that offer a degree in finance and financial management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality finance and financial management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the finance and financial management program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Essex County College. The school came in at #1 for the Best Value Finance Schools for an Associate. Essex County College is a public institution located in Newark, New Jersey. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 15 associates’s degrees in 2019-2020.
