Students have lots of options to chooose from today when trying to decide which college to attend. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Finance Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.

In 2019-2020, 57,893 people earned their degree in finance and financial management, making the major the 14th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, finance and financial management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $51,578 and had an average of $26,517 in loans still to pay off.

At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 48,043 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value Finance Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 647 colleges that offer a degree in finance and financial management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent finance and financial management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the finance and financial management program at the school and the cost of the school after aid is awarded among other things. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
