In 2020-2021, 57,778 people earned their degree in finance and financial management, making the major the 14th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, finance and financial management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $53,475 and had an average of $24,463 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Great Lakes region, there were 9,758 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,044 and $24,671 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 63 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,077 and $19,490 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Finance for an Associate” ranking analyzed 10 colleges that offered a degree in finance and financial management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality finance and financial management programs as well as strong veteran support.
