In 2020-2021, 57,778 people earned their degree in finance and financial management, making the major the 14th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, finance and financial management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $53,475 and had an average of $24,463 in loans still to pay off.
Across Minnesota, there were 1,087 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $49,915 and $26,410 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,029 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,071 and $28,140 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Minnesota for Finance for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 17 colleges that offer a degree in finance and financial management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality finance and financial management programs as well as strong veteran support.
