General Business/Commerce is the 16th most popular major in the country with 56,042 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.
Across Pennsylvania, there were 2,432 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,522 and $23,783 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 915 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,360 and $19,957 respectively.

Out of the 15 schools in the Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on General Business Major in Pennsylvania that were part of this year’s ranking, Montgomery County Community College landed the #3 spot on the list. Located in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, this medium-sized public school awarded 167 diplomas to qualified associates’s general business students in 2020-2021.
