General Business/Commerce is the 16th most popular major in the country with 56,042 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.

Across Maryland, there were 2,295 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,930 and $19,373 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Maryland for General Business” ranking looked at 16 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general business/commerce. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general business/commerce programs as well as strong veteran support.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the general business/commerce program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Adelphi, Maryland is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s general business degrees to 54 students in 2020-2021.
