In 2020-2021, 56,042 people earned their degree in general business/commerce, making the major the 16th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.

Across Massachusetts, there were 2,099 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $62,337 and $20,020 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Massachusetts for General Business” ranking analyzed 19 colleges that offered a degree in general business/commerce. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general business/commerce programs as well as strong veteran support.
