Marketing is the 16th most popular major in the country with 52,262 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,323 and had an average of $24,975 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 3,711 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,748 and $27,884 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,936 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,041 and $24,492 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Marketing Schools for a Bachelor’s in the New England Region” ranking analyzed 56 colleges that offered a degree in marketing. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality marketing programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
