In 2020-2021, 13,680 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 73rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,647 and had an average of $24,340 in loans still to pay off.
At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 2,381 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $58,425 and $0 respectively.
This year’s “Schools for a Master’s Highly Focused on MIS Major” ranking analyzed 136 colleges that offered a degree in management information systems. This a ranking of the schools where the largest percentage of students has enrolled in management information systems.
