2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Real Estate
With all of the options students have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. Our “Best Value Real Estate Schools for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Real Estate is the 163rd most popular major in the country with 5,658 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, real estate graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $59,476 and had an average of $30,114 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 326 real estate graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Real Estate Schools for an Associate” ranking analyzed 41 colleges that offered a degree in real estate. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great real estate programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the real estate program at the school and the cost of the school after aid is awarded among other things. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend San Jacinto Community College. The school came in at #1 for the Best Value Real Estate Schools for an Associate. San Jacinto College is a large public school situated in Pasadena, Texas. It awarded 10 associates’s real estate degrees in 2019-2020.
San Jacinto College did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Real Estate Associate Degree Schools” list. It costs about $8,692 for associate degree real estate students per year to attend San Jacinto Community College.
Out of the 41 schools in the Best Value Real Estate Schools for an Associate that were part of this year’s ranking, American Public University System landed the #2 spot on the list. Charles Town, West Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out associates’s real estate degrees to 22 students in 2019-2020.
American Military University also took the #6 spot in our “Best Real Estate Associate Degree Schools” ranking. It costs about $10,222 for Associate Degree Real Estate students per year to attend American Public University System.
The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 98%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Waukesha County Technical College. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value Real Estate Schools for an Associate list. Located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, this medium-sized public school awarded 5 diplomas to qualified associates’s real estate students in 2019-2020.
