In 2020-2021, 6,547 people earned their degree in real estate, making the major the 155th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, real estate graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $60,568 and had an average of $21,484 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,015 real estate graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,110 and $23,202 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Real Estate” ranking, we looked at 19 colleges that offer a degree in real estate. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality real estate programs as well as strong veteran support.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the real estate program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
