You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Memphis. It ranked #1 on our 2024 Best Value Journalism Schools in Tennessee list. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend The University of Tennessee - Knoxville. It ranked #2 on our 2024 Best Value Journalism Schools in Tennessee list. Knoxville, Tennessee is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s journalism degrees to 106 students in 2020-2021.
UT Knoxville also made our “Best General Journalism Schools in Tennessee” list, coming in at #2. The yearly cost to attend UT Knoxville is $18,579 for tennessee journalism students.

Middle Tennessee State University is a large public school situated in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It awarded 88 ’s journalism degrees in 2020-2021.
Middle Tennessee State University not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #4 on our “Best General Journalism Schools in Tennessee” list. It costs about $12,752 for Tennessee Journalism students per year to attend Middle Tennessee State University.

Out of the 4 schools in the Best Value Journalism Schools in Tennessee that were part of this year’s ranking, Belmont University landed the #4 spot on the list. This medium-sized school is located in Nashville, Tennessee, and it awarded 13 ’s journalism degrees in 2020-2021.
