In 2020-2021, 336 people earned their degree in publishing, making the major the 299th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, publishing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,066 and had an average of $0 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 46 publishing graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,317 and $0 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent publishing programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Emerson College. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Publishing list. Emerson is a medium-sized school located in Boston, Massachusetts that handed out 46 ’s publishing degrees in 2020-2021.

Emerson also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 100 of the 5,115 students enrolled at Emerson College were GI Bill® students, of which 62 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
