In 2020-2021, 17,669 people earned their degree in radio, television and digital communication, making the major the 61st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, radio, television and digital communication graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $30,775 and had an average of $24,244 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,708 radio, television and digital communication graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,945 and $23,562 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Digital Communication” ranking analyzed 40 colleges that offered a degree in radio, television and digital communication. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent radio, television and digital communication programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the radio, television and digital communication program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
