This year's Best Computer Information Systems Colleges for Non-Traditional Students in the New England Region ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer a bachelor's in cis. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer information systems programs as well as strong support for students classified as non-traditional.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the computer information systems program at the school, affordability, and presence of non-traditional students. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

Northeastern University has taken the #1 spot in this year's computer information systems ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the city of Boston, Northeastern is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Northeastern, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the New England Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.5%. Approximately 7,987 students take at least one class online at Northeastern. 1,267 students are part time.

Our rankings recognize Southern New Hampshire University as the #2 school in this year's rankings. Located in the suburb of Manchester, SNHU is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
The student loan default rate at SNHU is lower than is typical, just 2.0% of students default in three years. 138,672 students at SNHU are exclusively online. 102,147 of SNHU students are attending part time.

University of Rhode Island comes in at #4 in this year's ranking. URI is a large public school located in the large suburb of Kingston. URI did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #7 on our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the New England Region list.

The #5 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. UMass Dartmouth is a moderately-sized public school located in the medium-sized suburb of North Dartmouth. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, UMass Dartmouth has also earned the #8 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the New England Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.7%. 1,514 of UMass Dartmouth students are exclusively distance learners. 2,061 of UMass Dartmouth students are attending part time.

UCONN is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Storrs. UCONN also made our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in the New England Region list, coming in at #6.
