In 2020-2021, 88,434 computer information systems students received their degree, making the major the 9th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.

Across Ohio, there were 1,607 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $51,932 and $28,732 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for CIS” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer information systems. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer information systems programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
