It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for CIS” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 88,434 computer information systems students received their degree, making the major the 9th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 1,607 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $51,932 and $28,732 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for CIS” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer information systems. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer information systems programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Columbus, Ohio is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s CIS degrees to 114 students in 2020-2021.
