Computer Programming is the 108th most popular major in the country with 11,939 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, computer programming graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $45,629 and had an average of $27,450 in loans still to pay off.

Across Ohio, there were 597 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,207 and $24,959 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Programming” ranking, we looked at 12 colleges that offer a degree in computer programming. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer programming programs as well as strong veteran support.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the computer programming program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

University of Cincinnati - Main Campus is a large public school situated in Cincinnati, Ohio. It awarded 60 ’s programming degrees in 2020-2021.

UC did well in our major quality rankings, too.
