Cornell did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Computer Science in New York list.

About 0.4% of Cornell students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 2,837 students at Cornell that take at least one class online. There are roughly 574 part time students in attendance at Cornell.

Rochester Institute of Technology comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. RIT is a large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Rochester. As a testament to the quality of education offered at RIT, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Science in New York ranking.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.8%. Approximately 9,961 students take at least one class online at RIT. 1,867 students are part time.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Binghamton University. Located in the midsize suburb of Vestal, Binghamton University is a public college with a large student population. Binghamton University also took the #5 spot in our Best Colleges for Computer Science in New York rankings.

The student loan default rate at Binghamton University is lower than is typical, just 0.7% of students default in three years. Approximately 1,472 students take at least one class online at Binghamton University. About 1,855 of the students at Binghamton University are attending part time.
